Santa Dash 2017

Cranleigh Rotary Club, together with Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce and Cranleigh Sunflowers, organised the Santa Dash that took place on Sunday, 10 December.  

The 5K and 10K fun run for adults and children began in Stocklund Square at 10 am, then followed the Downs Link and crossed Snoxhall fields.

Entries for the Dash were sold out, although not everyone turned up on the day because the weather was so atrocious. However, those brave souls who took part all had a good time, with warming refreshments awaiting them at the finish line.

Every participant was given a special Santa Dash medal and a Santa Hat to keep. Some of them were so enthused that they actually purchased Santa outfits.

The event raised the splendid total of £720 towards books and other resources for local primary schools.  

Registration is now open for the 2018 Santa Dash! There is an overall entry cap next year of 300 in order to meet demand, but please enter early to avoid disappointment.
