Rotary Helps Beautify High Street

In April, the U3A Garden Club offered to replenish some of the plants in two of the flower beds in Fountain Square. They raised some funds from members and then Gill Ford approached Cranleigh Rotary's President, David Barry, to see if the Club would support this effort and they made a generous donation of £50 - which was excellent news.

The beds have been weeded, the new plants added and the U3A Garden Group are maintaining and watering the flower beds, which was rather tricky during the recent drought.

The Garden Group are very grateful for Cranleigh Rotary's support in ensuring that Fountain Square continues to welcome residents and visitors to our lovely village.

Many thanks.
