Rotarians With Green Fingers

For several years, Cranleigh Rotary has maintained the garden features adjacent to the pathways that stretch from the Post Office to Cromwell House. Members recently decided that some ‘severe shrub pruning’ and removal of ‘overgrown/wild plants’ was essential.
After due discussions with Cranleigh Parish Council, a work team led by new Rotarian, Ron van der Hut (plus two of his apprentices), and supported by Rotarians Gill Ford and David Barry, spent a few hours achieving a more aesthetic and pedestrian-friendly result (see photos).
Ron, a professional gardener, also arranged removal and disposal of the plant debris, and in this regard Cranleigh Rotary express their sincere appreciation.
