A planned sponsored walk by Cranleigh Rotarian Jill Leslie to commemorate the Club's 50th anniversary year has been cancelled.

Between 4th and 6th October, Jill was intending to walk over the beautiful Surrey Hills  to raise much-needed funds for two Rotary-supported charities in Zambia - the Jaipur Limb Project and The Foundation School for needy 7 to 19 year-olds and their families.

Jill says: "I am devastated. I initiated this event and have extensively trained to do this at times hilly walk. but I have now have damaged my back. I am extremely sorry to cancel it and would like to thank everyone who supported the planning of this event. I hope Cranleigh Rotary will find other ways of supporting the two Zambian charities."
