New! Rotary Quiz Success
Despite competition from a rival event held on the same night, Cranleigh Rotary's annual quiz on 12 April was a great success, with 15 teams taking part.
The wiining team by a large margin was 'Cranleigh Historians', followed in second place by 'The Prisoners'. The winners were presented with a trophy by Club President David Barry and each received an individual prize (see photo below).
The event, which included a raffle, raised approximately £650 that will be used to support local charities.
David Barry, who compered the quiz, said, "This was a most enjoyable evening. Grateful thanks to everyone who took part, and everyone who worked so hard to make the event a succcess."
