Christmas Shoebox Collection

For many years, Cranleigh Rotary has been assisting with the collection and distribution of Christmas shoeboxes that have been donated by local schoolchildren and others for disadvantaged youngsters in Romania.

This year, Cranleigh Rotary, in association with members of St Nicolas Church,  pursued a combined REAL and VIRTUAL SHOEBOX APPEAL. This  enabled donors to either fill a shoebox with small gifts or make a donation. 

Approximately 1,500 shoeboxes have now been collected, about half coming from the Cranleigh area and the remainder from Newcastle, Frinton, Tiverton and Poole. By 21 November, donations to our Justgiving account stood at £1,135. Please note that this will close on 1st December.
