About Cranleigh Rotary

Cranleigh is located in the county of Surrey, about 11 km south east of Guildford.

Members of the Cranleigh Rotary Club are drawn from various professions including shop owners, accountants and bank managers, a farmer, a teacher, a space consultant / author, a marketing manager, an undertaker and a chef. We also have a number of associate members and corporate members who assist us with our various activities.

Our members have helped the local community in many different ways, such as driving minibuses, helping with reading in schools, running competitions for young people in poetry, cookery and public speaking, and sponsoring young people to attend a Rotary Youth Leaders (RYLA) course or enjoy a day out at Chessington World of Adventure. We also sponsor an Interact Club, formed by local school students as a social meeting place and fund-raising organisation for good causes at home and abroad.

Our regular fund-raising events for charity include a quiz, and we are involved in Cranleigh events such as the Santa Dash and village carnival. We support local charities and contribute to young people who want to travel or take part in other projects for charity. Much of our work, and the funds we raise, are devoted to youth projects.

For our Club programme see the Club Programme page.
