John Becomes President For 2014-15

On 3 July, John Menlove was sworn in as the new President of the Rotary Club of Cranleigh, succeeding David Gill. John is the Club's 45th President since it was formed in 1970.

"I am a comparative new boy in Cranleigh having retired from farming in Dorset, where I took an active part in the NFU, the Parish Council, the church and the local agricultural show," said John.

Since he came to Cranleigh, John has become just as active in the local community and St Nicolas Church, notably as a participant in the Cranleigh Agricultural Show.

"I am deeply honoured to be the next President of Cranleigh Rotary and I shall do my utmost to promote the Club and the worldwide Rotary organisation," he said.
